Living off of anything less than $15 an hour is hard. It’s growing increasingly more difficult as the cost of living rises. However, plenty of companies still offer jobs at $15 an hour. But these jobs can be hard to find.

What kinds of jobs pay at this rate? What skills does one need to qualify? Are the jobs stable, full-time jobs that aren’t seasonal?

To answer these questions and help steer you in the right direction, We’ve built a list of well-known companies that operate in multiple states. The companies also offer positions that start at $15 an hour, not up to $15.

So, look at our list of 16 well-known companies that pay at least $15 an hour in 2024. I’m confident you can find a job that fits your needs.

1. Amazon

Amazon offers a lot of different positions. They ship to all 50 states and operate in countless countries like Ireland, Germany, France, and Mexico.

The pay varies, but most Amazon positions start at least $15 an hour. Warehouse and delivery workers make slightly more. Both positions earn about $16 to $26 an hour.

2. Chipotle

Chipotle is delicious. It also pays well, depending on your job title and the area. For instance, most Chipotle restaurant workers earn between $11 to $17 an hour.

Chipotle also offers numerous benefits, including medical benefits and debt-free college degrees. The average crew member at Chipotle makes $15.24.

3. Apple

Apple stores can be found across the nation. You can even work from home through Apple customer service roles. But how much can you earn?

Employees can make a lot of money at Apple. 2022, the company increased wages to $22 an hour or higher. The average Apple cashier earns $19.73 an hour.

Target is a very well-known country in the United States. Target employs around 415,000 people.

Target’s minimum wage depends on a person’s job role and the area. Currently, the starting salary at Target ranges from $15 to $24 an hour.

5. Buc-Ee’s

Buc-ee’s is growing fast. This well-loved gas station and general store has locations in Florida, Texas, Alabama, Georgia, South Carolina, and Tennessee.

Buc-ee’s offers benefits like medical insurance, PTO, and employer-matched 401k. At Buc-ees, you can start at as much as $18 an hour in some stores.

6. Costco

Costco is also on our list of well-known companies that pay at least $15 an hour. The good thing about Costco is that they are always hiring, and they are in multiple states, including Puerto Rico.

Costco starts some employees at $16 an hour. The average Costco worker earns $20.52. This is higher in some states. For instance, in Massachusetts, Costco employees make an average of $22.27 per hour.

7. Bank of America

Finding a job at Bank of America is relatively easy. Not only can you work in the bank, but also at home as a customer service representative.

Bank of America has been ahead of the game for years. In 2024, full-time hourly workers earn $23 an hour. This will bump up to $25 an hour by 2025.

8. CVS

There are so many jobs at CVS. You can work in healthcare or customer service. CVS also offers remote customer service positions. And the positions pay well!

In 2022, CVS set their hourly minimum wage to $15 an hour. Some employees start even higher.

9. Hobby Lobby

Hobby Lobby operates in multiple states. This craft store is in Florida, Pennsylvania, Colorado, Arkansas, and Ohio.

Hobby Lobby, like Bank of America, was ahead of other companies. They implemented a $15 minimum wage in 2014 for full-time employees. Now, Hobby Lobby employees start at $18.50.

10. Openforce

If you want a job that pays at least $15 an hour, don’t hesitate to look for remote customer service jobs. Openforce pays many customer service representatives over $15 an hour.

For instance, the average Openforce customer service rep makes $16.78 in the United States. Contractors can earn more than $20 an hour.

11. Walgreens

Like CVS, Walgreens is a major company offering many job opportunities. You can work as a pharmacy technician, a cashier, or a customer service representative.

Walgreens doesn’t have a set minimum wage for all employees. However, many Walgreens workers make over $15 an hour. In Florida, the average cashier pay is $15.30. Team supervisors make about $24.72 an hour.

12. Starbucks

Starbucks employees can earn a good wage. And there are plenty of jobs at Starbucks. There are over 38,000 stores in the world.

As of 2023, the average Starbucks employee earns an average of $17.50 an hour. Baristas make at least $15.

13. Cigna

I am a sucker for customer service roles, especially if I don’t have to leave my home. Cigna offers just this. Cigna is a well-known medical insurance company that operates in at least 12 states.

Many of the roles offered at Cigna are fully remote, and wages vary. A Cigna employee can make anywhere from $17 to $23 an hour, while the average customer service representative makes $18.25.

14. PNC Bank

Health insurance companies and banks tend to pay the most. PNC Bank is no exception. This company offers in-person and remote jobs. You can work as a banker or customer service representative.

For a while, PNC Bank offered an hourly minimum wage of $15. Recently, they’ve raised to $18 an hour.

15. Wells Fargo

There are no shortages of Wells Fargo. It feels like you could drive five minutes away from one location and find another. Wells Fargo provides plenty of jobs. The company employs over 200,000 people.

Wells Fargo employees start at $15 an hour. This number is higher in specific locations. The starting wage for hourly employees can go up to $20.

16. Aetna

Last but not least is Aetna, another insurance company. They offer health, dental, and vision. Around 47,000 people work at Aetna.

On the lower end, Aetna employees start at $16 an hour. Previously, they started at $12. The average Aetna employee makes over $20.
